Plans and limits
The plan belongs to the service, not to the account. Every service starts on FREE.
| Setting | FREE | PRO |
|---|---|---|
| Team members per service | 5 | 25 |
| Email subscribers per service | 100 | 10,000 |
| Custom domain | No | Yes |
| Allow search engine indexing | No | Yes |
| Monitor types | REST Health Check, Text Match | Also DOM Assertion |
Upgrading
An ADMIN of a FREE service selects Upgrade to PRO next to the service name. That sends a request to the platform operators, who review it and set the plan. The button then changes to "PRO requested". See how to request PRO.
Limits that do not depend on the plan
| What | Limit |
|---|---|
| Services per account, created or joined | 2 by default |
| Service and component names, incident titles | 256 characters |
| Descriptions | 4096 characters |
| Status messages | 4096 characters |
| Edit window for updates and closed incidents | 7 days |
| Page password | At least 6 characters |
| Account password | At least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a digit and a symbol |
After a downgrade
A downgrade is not applied retroactively. Members above the new limit stay, and only new invitations are blocked. A page that is already indexable stays indexable. Monitors of a type the plan no longer includes stop running. A custom domain stops working immediately.
