How do I use my own domain for the status page?
Add the hostname under Settings in the Custom domain card, create the CNAME (canonical name) and TXT (text) records it shows, then select Verify. This needs the PRO plan.
Before you start
- You are a service ADMIN.
- The service is on the PRO plan. On FREE, select Upgrade to PRO next to the service. A platform operator reviews each request.
- The page is public. Adding a domain to a private page makes it public, and the form asks you to confirm.
- You can edit Domain Name System (DNS) records for the domain. Use a subdomain such as
status.example.com. DNS does not allow a CNAME on a bare domain such asexample.com.
Steps
-
Open the service and select Settings.
-
In Custom domain, enter the hostname and select Add domain.

-
Copy the two records shown in the card and create them at your DNS provider.

-
Wait for DNS to propagate. This can take a few minutes.
-
Select Verify. The status changes from Pending verification to Verified.
-
Open
https://<your hostname>. The first load can take a few seconds while the certificate is issued.
Questions
Which record do I add where?
The CNAME goes on your hostname, for example status.example.com. The TXT record goes on a sibling name, for example status-statusraptor.example.com. See custom domains.
Why does Verify fail?
The TXT record is missing, has a different token, or has not propagated. Check it with dig TXT status-statusraptor.example.com. If you changed the hostname, the token changed too.
Can I make a page with a custom domain private?
No. See visibility modes.
How do I remove the domain?
Select Remove in the card. The page remains available at /status/{slug}.
What happens if we leave the PRO plan?
The domain stops resolving immediately. The status page is still available at /status/{slug}.
