How do I change or remove the password of my status page?

To change it, open Settings, type a new password in the Page visibility card and select Save visibility. To remove it, select Public and save.

Steps to change the password

1. Open the service and select Settings.
2. In Page visibility, keep Private, password protected selected.
3. Type the new password. Leave the field empty to keep the current one.
4. Select Save visibility.

1. In Page visibility, select Public.
2. Select Save visibility.

Questions

Are visitors signed out when I change the password?

Yes. Everyone who had unlocked the page must enter the new password.

Can I set a different password per visitor?

No. The page has one shared password. For per-person access, use a secret link and regenerate it when someone should lose access.
