How do I test a monitor before saving it?

Fill in the monitor form and select Verify. Status Raptor runs one check and shows the status, the response time and any error under the button. Nothing is saved.

Steps

1. Open the monitor form from Monitoring, then Add Monitoring.
2. Fill in the type, endpoint, path and check configuration.
3. Select Verify and wait for the result.
4. Fix the configuration until the result matches what you expect, then select Add Monitor.

Questions

The result says the connection was lost.

The result is streamed to your browser. Check your network and select Verify again.

Can I test a type my plan does not include?

No. Verification is blocked for types that are not available on the service's plan.
